Located in the City God Temple (Chenghuangmiao), inside the city of Shanghai. It was built in 1559 and its architecture is very complicated: it hosts many pavilions, lakes, bridges and rocks.

| The City God Temple
It is a Taoist Temple: in fact, Taoists believed that every city should be protected by a divinity. It was firstly built during the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Nowadays the bazaar outside the temple hosts many stores selling typical Chinese handicrafts, curative herbs and souvenirs.

| The Jade Buddha Temple (Yufo)
It is so called because of the two Sakyamuni statues made by jade that are in the temple. One is seated while the other one is reclining, both where brought in China from Myanmar. The temple was built in 1882.

| Shanghai Museum
The museum has a wide collection of bronze ware from Shang and Zhou Dynasties (16th to 3rd century b.C.), but also pottery, china ware, calligraphy and paintings as well as sculptures and seals from different dynasties.
