The Palace of the former Manchurian Regime
This palace was built in the suburbs of Changchun City by the Japanese for Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, when they enthroned him as emperor of the puppet Manchurian Regime. It consists of two main areas: the inner court, where the emperor used to live with his court and the outer court where he was supposed to perform public functions. It covers an area of about 43,000 square meters.
