Located in the southern part of the city, it is China's largest temple and altar complex. Every year, here the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties used to pray and offer ritual sacrifices to worship heavenly deities and to ask for good harvesting. It is located in a park where other interesting and full of meaning buildings can be found.
